Sign, protect, certify

What a document needs to be accepted by whoever receives it.

  • Signature. Draw it with finger or mouse, or load an image: it becomes an element you move and resize.
  • PDF/A and PDF/X. With a real check before calling it compliant: embedded fonts, transparency, active content.
  • Password and permissions. File encryption, with printing and copying permissions.
  • Hidden revisions. Pulls out earlier versions left inside the file: what you thought was deleted.
  • Signature check. Who signed, when, and whether the document was touched afterwards.
  • Redaction counter-check. Verifies that no text is left under the black box.
Codes and numbering

Letting a machine read the document, not just a person.

  • QR codes. Any text — addresses, contacts, vCards — generated here, with no outside service.
  • Barcodes. Code 128, EAN-13, EAN-8 and Code 39. The EANs work out the check digit themselves.
  • Page numbering. Position, format and range of your choice.
Lay out

Read and search

Making a document searchable, even when it is a photograph.

  • Text recognition (OCR). On scans and photos, in Italian, English, French, German, Spanish, Chinese and Japanese. It is the only thing that leaves here, and only if you allow it page by page.
  • Recognition fixes. Suggests corrections where the OCR got it wrong, and you apply them one by one.
  • Automatic index. Built from the document's real headings.
  • Extraction. Text, images and attachments the file carries inside.
